King Tallies Ace at Nationals

(Chautauqua, NY) - The Cougar golf team participated in the 2023 NJCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship this past week. The national championship event is hosted by Jamestown CC at the beautiful Chautauqua Country Club and welcomes qualifying teams from across the country.

Joshua King (Springfield, MA / Chicopee Comprehensive HS) achieved one of golf's ultimate feats, sinking a hole in one. His accomplishment occurred on the course's eighth hole during the fourth and final round of the tournament (6/9/23). King, who was Holyoke's top scorer at nationals, used a 6-iron to score his ace on the 160 yard par-3. 

The golf team represented HCC wonderfully at the national championship, highlighted by the spectacular hole-in-one. Let's go Cougars!
