Men’s Soccer Closes Out Season

Cougars Play 2024 Finale

(Holyoke, MA) - Men's soccer put the finishing touches on the 2024 campaign on Tuesday afternoon, closing out the season with a regional home game. Holyoke had some strong moments but fell to Quinsigamond CC.

The Cougars' lone second year player, Tanner Joseph (Holyoke, MA / Hampshire Regional HS), had a stellar performance, playing in his final game for HCC. Joseph battled tenaciously, as he did throughout his two seasons for Holyoke. Freshman defenders Lucas Castro (Chicopee, MA / Chicopee Comprehensive HS) and Nicolas Tobin (Chicopee, MA / Chicopee Comprehensive HS) worked relentlessly to try and keep the opposition's attackers scoring chances to a minimum.

Holyoke finishes the 2024 season with a 1-9 overall record and a 1-8 regional record. Their lone victory was a shutout. A majority of this year's team are likely to return to play for HCC in 2025. Let's go Cougars!
