Men’s Hoop Grabs Regional Road Win

Mwandemani Registers Triple-Double

(Boston, MA) - Men's basketball hit the road on Saturday, claiming a regional victory over Roxbury CC. Holyoke played well thought the game, prevailing by a 75-70 score.

Edson Mwandemani (Springfield, MA /Putnam HS) put forth an outstanding performance for the Cougars, tallying a triple-double in the contest. Mwandemani scored 33 points, brought down 10 rebounds and had 10 steals. He was impressive from the free-throw line, shooting a perfect 10 for 10. Dylan Rohan (Holyoke, MA / Holyoke HS) scored 26 points, including five three-pointers.

Men's basketball has a 2-4 regional record and a 2-6 overall record. They will enjoy the Thanksgiving week off before returning to play a pair of home games during the first week of December. Holyoke will host UCONN Avery Point at 7:30pm on December 3rd and Northern Essex CC at 8pm on December 5th. Let's go Cougars!
