Men’s Hoop Working Hard Through Winter
Cougars Poised for Pair at Home
Men's basketball has worked hard in the second half of their season, battling relentlessly on the court. The Cougars have put forth several strong performances in 2025 while searching for their first win of the new year. Holyoke will host two more games this season, one on Thursday, February 13th at 7pm followed by their home finale on Saturday, February 15th at 3pm.
Dylan Rohan (Holyoke, MA / Holyoke HS) has been outstanding for the Cougars, leading the team in points and three-pointers. Rohan has scored over 20 points in nine of his 18 games played this season and has twice tallied 30 points or more. James Fitzgibbons (Hadley, MA / Hopkins Academy) has played tremendously and is far and away Holyoke's leader in rebounds. Fitzgibbons has registered a double-double in three of his last five games.
Men's basketball has a 2-17 overall record and a 2-15 regional record. They have a handful of games remaining this season, including their next two at home. Holyoke hosts Bristol CC on Thursday, February 13th at 7pm before their home finale on Saturday, February 15th. HCC will host a men's and women's doubleheader against Roxbury CC on Saturday in what will be each of the HCC basketball teams' home finale. The women will play first at 1pm, followed by the men at 3pm. Both HCC teams won their first meetings of the season against Roxbury. Let's go Cougars!
