Men’s Baseball Closes Out Campaign

Cougars Put Finishing Touches on 2025 Season

(Boston, MA) - Men's baseball closed out the 2025 season on Saturday afternoon, traveling to play a doubleheader at Bunker Hill CC. Holyoke battled and swung for the fences, as they have throughout the year, falling 15-5 in game one and 9-7 in game two. 

Three of the Cougars' sophomores had stellar campaigns in 2025. Herick Cortes (Holyoke, MA / Holyoke HS) finished the year leading the team in RBIs (19), home runs (2) and extra base hits (23). Sean Rosemond (Springfield, MA / Longmeadow HS) led the Cougars in batting average (.417) and stolen bases (8) and Alex Gochinski (Greenfield, MA / Frontier Regional HS) led in hits (39) and runs (23). 

Men's baseball finishes the season with a 6-21 overall record and a 3-13 regional record. They began the campaign with a trip to Florida and picked up several nice victories throughout the year. Ten members of this year's squad can return to play in 2026. Let's go Cougars!
