Cougars Split Season Opening Doubleheader

Baseball Rallies to Secure Victory in Florida

(Winter Haven, FL) - Men's baseball opened their season playing a doubleheader against Waubonsee CC (IL)  on Monday at the RussMatt Invitational in Florida. The Cougars won game two of the doubleheader 7-6 after falling 3-0 in game one. Holyoke trailed 6-0 in game two heading into the bottom of the sixth inning, where they'd score three runs. Trailing 6-3 in the bottom of the seventh, the Cougars rallied to score four runs and secure a 7-6 comeback victory.

Baseball has a 1-1 overall record. They will play four more games while in Florida at the RussMatt Invitational. Let's go Cougars!
