Cougar Golf Ready to Hit the Course

HCC Golfers Set to Tee Off on 2026 Season

The HCC golf team is ready to get the 2026 season underway, teeing off with several regular season events during the month of May. The Cougars have won the New England championship each of the past four years and have participated in the NJCAA Golf National Championships in three of those four years.

Alex Gochiniski (Greenfield, MA / Frontier Regional HS) will lead the Cougars into competition, returning to play his second full season. Gochinski, who was also a member of HCC's baseball team for two years, shot a team-best 88 in the first round of the Golf National Championships during Holyoke's last appearance at the event. He sank six birdies during that round, five of which came on the course's back nine. Joining Gochinski are several freshman golfers who look to gain experience throughout the 2026 campaign.
