HCC Athletics Hosts Cross Country Championships

Division III Nationals a Great Success

(Holyoke & Westfield, MA) The HCC Athletic Department hosted the 2022 NJCAA Division III Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships this past weekend. The national event saw close to 250 athletes participate from 33 colleges across the country. HCC's Bartley Center hosted Friday's pre-race festivities while Stanley Park in Westfield was the site of Saturday's men's and women's races.

Harper College (IL) won the women's team championship with SUNY Erie's Lydia Smith winning the race and the individual national championship. College of DuPage (IL) claimed the top spot in the men's team competition with their runner Nicholas Keeling taking first overall and the national championship for individuals.
